Canberra-based photographer Andrew Mayo specialises in a diverse range of genres—from weddings, events and portraits, through to music, lifestyle and fishing photography. It’s hard to imagine a more eclectic mix of subject matter, but that’s what Andrew loves... And it works.
Weddings
With six years of wedding photography experience, Andrew captures beautiful images that you’ll cherish for years to come, and his friendly, personable approach ensures that your big day is relaxed and enjoyable. Andrew is a founding partner of Juice Wedding Photography, a successful Canberra business with a reputation for fresh, creative images and excellent client service. After four, busy years shooting alongside Greg Power at Juice, Andrew absorbed the business in 2010 and now works under his own name. The friendly, professional service and wonderful image products that Juice clients enjoyed—including the popular range of premium, leather-bound albums—are now available through Andrew Mayo Photography.

Music
For more than 10 years, Andrew has documented the energy, excitement and passion of live music performances. His extensive portfolio showcases the who’s who of Australian rock music in full flight—and in quieter moments—including Midnight Oil, Silverchair, Powderfinger, You Am I, Jet, The Living End and Grinspoon, as well as high profile international artists such as Pink, Rob Thomas and Coldplay.
A principal photographer for Canberra’s BMA magazine since 1999, Andrew’s work is enjoyed by the Canberra faithful every fortnight. His work is held in collections at the National Film and Sound Archive and the National Library of Australia, and has been published in a range of national and international publications. A number of his large format exhibition prints are available for purchase, in a limited edition of 15.
